Green Tea – Japanese Sencha



Our green tea is made from the finest Japanese Sencha. It has a delicate sweet flavour, whilst also giving a slight earthy and vegetal taste. Japanese Sencha gives these unique flavours due to the quick steaming process upon harvesting. It is then traditionally rolled and shaped by hand, creating the unique cylindrical shape of Sencha. To enjoy the perfect cup of Sencha tea, the water should be heated to 80°c and the leaves should be infused for around 2 minutes. The leaves can be given multiple steeps until all the flavourings have diminished.
